Bio: Jimmy Blewett followed the family legacy into motorsports when he began racing in 2000. Since then he has established himself as one of the Northeast’s top Modified drivers. After five seasons running limited schedules on the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour, Blewett made his first full-time run in the division in 2006, grabbing his first career victory in the division that season at Martinsville (Va.) Speedway. In 2007 Blewett picked up his second series victory at Wall (N.J.) Stadium on the way to an eighth place finish in the standings. In 2008 he had back-to-back series victories at Riverhead (N.Y.) and Stafford Motor Speedway on the way to a ninth place finish in the standings. In 2009 Blewett picked up a May win at Stafford but parted ways with team owner Eddie Partridge after eight events. In 2012 he returned to full-time action in the division, finishing eighth in the standings. Blewett is also a two-time Wall Stadium champion. He won the 2008 Tour Type Modified championship at the World Series of Asphalt Stock Car Racing at New Smyrna Speedway. He won SK Modified championships at the New Smyrna World Series in 2008 and 2009. Blewett is also a two-time winner of the Richie Evans Memorial event at New Smyrna and a seven-time Turkey Derby winner at Wall Stadium. Tweets by @SHOWTIME6676
