Coby, of Milford, is on the entry list for the Northeastern Midget Association’s season opening 25-lap event at the Waterford Speedbowl this weekend, part of the track’s Budweiser Blastoff Sunday schedule.

Coby will be in a custom chassis designed by Danny Drinan and Tim Bertrand of Bertrand Motorsports.

“The car has been re-done from head to foot, a very nice piece,” Bertrand said in a release from NEMA.

Coby drove for Betrand at last year’s NEMA event at Lee USA Speedway.

“It is good to challenge myself with something different,” Coby said.
