Seeing Double: Rain This Week Inflates Thompson Speedway Thursday Racing Card Next Week

When the rain finally went from mild nuisance to show-stopper Thursday night at Thompson International Speedway, it meant two events left on five-feature card had to be scrapped for the evening.

Thompson Speedway officials announced today that those two events will be made up on their next Thursday racing card, next week.

It will create a night chock full with twin features at the track.

The June 13 schedule already had included twin 30-lap events for the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series SK Modified division.

Now the track will add twin 20-lap features for both the Limited Sportsman and SK Light Modified divisions. Neither had run their events Thursday before rain stopped the show.
