The event will be held to raise funds for the New England Auto Racing Hall of Fame, which is overseen by New England Antique Racers.

The picnic will take place under the pavilion at the Polish American Club at 194 West Spring Street in West Haven. The picnic will take place rain or shine. Tickets for the event are $20 for adults and $10 for children between 12-16. The ticket price includes food and entries for door prize giveaways. There will also be a cash bar and raffles.

The last car Greco drove, recently restored, will be unveiled at the picnic. A display of vintage cars will also be on hand for the event.

“We’ve got a lot of great raffle prizes lined-up” NEAR vice president Bill Henry said in a release. “Among the items up-for-grabs will be racing hats signed by NASCAR Sprint Cup driver Carl Edwards and ‘The King’ Richard Petty, reproduction vintage racing posters from Maine’s Beech Ridge Speedway, admission tickets to local speedways, and pen & ink racing artwork by artist Hugh MacDonald.”

For additional information and to purchase tickets, contact Greco at 203-378-7945 or email [email protected]. Tickets will also be available at the door.
