The Valenti Modified Racing Series has been added to schedule for the season ending Finale weekend in 2014 at the Waterford Speedbowl.
It will mean three visits to the shoreline oval this coming season for the series.
“Their races with us are always extremely competitive and the staff is top-notch to work with,” Speedbowl owner and promoter Terry Eames said in a release. “There’s a lot of Speedbowl roots there and we’re excited to bring them back to close the season”.
The Valenti Modified Racing Series will now have a 17-race schedule in 2014 with eight of those events scheduled for Connecticut short tracks.
In addition to being part of the Oct 4-5 finale weekend at Waterford, the series will open its season at Waterford March 30 and also visit the track on Aug. 9.
The division will make three stops at Stafford Motor Speedway in 2014 and two stops at Thompson Speedway.
I kind of seen this coming. This is good news to hear! Now the bowl has a finale event worth going and paying to see!
