Sunshine State Sweep: Daniel Suarez Grabs K&N Pro Series East Battle At The Beach Win At Daytona

February in Florida proved very fruitful for K&N Pro Series East driver Daniel Suarez.

After opening the K&N Pro Series East season with a victory Sunday at New Smyrna (Fla.) Speedway, the Monterrey, Mexico driver stayed perfect in series action by winning the UNOH Battle at the Beach 150 Tuesday at Daytona International Speedway.

Suarez led the final 119 laps around the .37-temporary oval on the Daytona International Speedway backstretch.

Suarez became the first driver since Sean Caisse in 2006 to open the K&N Pro Series East season with back to back victories.

Austin Hill was second and Brandon McReynolds third.

Scott Heckert of Ridgefield was ninth and Dave Garbo of North Stonington 21st.
