Andy Seuss took the lead on lap 53 and dominated the rest of the way in winning the NASCAR Southern Modified Tour South Boston 150 at South Boston (Va.) Speedway.

It was the second victory in three Southern Modified Tour events this season for the Hampstead, N.H. driver.

Seuss took the lead from pole sitter Danny Bohn on the first lap, lost the lead from Bohn on lap 52 then took the top spot back for good.

George Brunnhoelzl III of West Babylon, N.Y. rallied from the back of the field to finish second and Bohn, of Freehold, N.J. third.

Seuss became the first repeat winner in series action at South Boston since the division returned to the track in 2009. It was Seuss’ 17th career Southern Modified Tour victory.

The victory vaulted Seuss into the series points lead.
