The spoils of a magical weekend for Ed Puleo have continued into the week.
Through voting on RaceDayCT, Puleo has won the first New England Racing Fuel Support Performer of the Week Award.
Each week during the 2014 racing season the New England Racing Fuel RaceDayCT Support Performer of the Week will be chosen from among drivers competing in events in one of the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series weekly support divisions (excludes SK Modified divisions) at Stafford Motor Speedway, Thompson Speedway and the Waterford Speedbowl.
The winner each week will be chosen through voting on RaceDayCT. Puleo was nominated thanks to his victory in Saturday’s Street Stock feature at the Waterford Speedbowl.
Puleo ended up edging out Speedbowl Mini Stock division driver Doug Curry in the voting. Puleo garnered 176 of the 473 votes placed. Curry, the Mini Stock feature winner at Waterford Saturday, got 158 votes.

Puleo will receive a $20 certificate for race fuel from New England Racing Fuel.
