STAFFORD – The rain is gone, the clouds are parting and the sun is shining above Stafford Motor Speedway.
Time for the green flag to fall for NAPA Auto Parts Spring Sizzler Saturday in Stafford.
With the morning and early afternoon rain gone, Stafford Speedway crews have dried things out on the half-mile oval and got things underway for a busy Spring Sizzler Saturday schedule at the track.
The Northeast Mini Stock Tour hit the track first on the day for practice and were followed up immediately by the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour in a practice in preparation for Sunday’s NAPA Auto Parts Spring Sizzler 200.
Following Whelen Modified Tour practice, Stafford’s weekly divisions will have a practice session.
That session will be followed up by Whelen Modified Tour qualifying to set the field for Sunday’s Spring Sizzler 200.
Whelen Modified Tour practice will be followed up by feature racing. On the schedule for this evening are 20-lap features for the SK Light Modified and Limited Late model divisions, a 15-lap DARE Stock feature and a 25-lap feature for the Northeast Mini Stock Tour.
