Thompson Speedway To Host Food Bank Night At The Track On May 15

Access Community Action AgencyThompson Speedway management announced Wednesday that they will be partnering with ACCESS Agency Food Bank and TEEG to host a Food Bank Night at the track on May 15.

The track will offer a $2 discount on tickets for that evening’s racing card to anyone that brings a can of non-perishable food for donation to ACCESS and TEEG.

The track will also be accepting donations at the event for basket giveaways with items from local businesses and sponsors for donation to ACCESS.

Longtime track employee Barbara Pickett is a volunteer with TEEG. Track employee Laurel Houle’s mother heads the food pantry with ACCESS Agency.

Thompson will have a five division racing card on May 15, featuring twin features for the Late Model division. Other divisions on the card that night include the NASCAR All-American Series SK Modifieds, the SK Light Modifieds, the Limited Sportsman division and the Mini Stocks.
