The driver referred to as “The Comeback Kid” has been proving that mantra in perfect fashion the last two events at the Waterford Speedbowl.
After getting disqualified from a victory for shock issues on April 19, Galvin has bounced back to win the last two consecutive Street Stock features at the Waterford Speedbowl.
And on the strength of his second consecutive victory Saturday, Galvin, of Franklin, was voted this week’s New England Racing Fuel Support Performer Of The Week Award.
Galvin garnered 37 percent of the votes in this week’s poll.
Each week during the 2014 racing season the New England Racing Fuel RaceDayCT Support Performer of the Week will be chosen from among drivers competing in events in one of the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series weekly support divisions (excludes SK Modified divisions) at Stafford Motor Speedway, Thompson Speedway and the Waterford Speedbowl.
Galvin will receive a $20 certificate for race fuel from New England Racing Fuel. The final voting results are listed below.
