Randy Churchill Jr. Wins New England Racing Fuel Support Performer Of The Week Award

NE Racing Fuel Support Performer Award

Saturday at the Waterford Speedbowl, Randy Churchill Jr. had all he could to hold off the charges Glenn Griswold in the SK Light Modified division feature at the Waterford Speedbowl.

But there was nothing close about Churchill’s runaway victory off the track this week.

Churchill, of Oakdale, easily outdistanced the competition in the voting this week the New England Racing Fuel Support Performer Of The Week Award.

Churchill garnered 39 percent of the votes in polling this week for the award. Stafford Motor Speedway Late Model driver Adam Gray of Belchertown, Mass., was a distant second with 16 percent of the votes.

Each week during the 2014 racing season the New England Racing Fuel RaceDayCT Support Performer of the Week will be chosen from among drivers competing in events in one of the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series weekly support divisions (excludes SK Modified divisions) at Stafford Motor Speedway, Thompson Speedway and the Waterford Speedbowl.

Churchill will receive a $20 certificate for race fuel from New England Racing Fuel. The final voting results are listed below.
