THOMPSON – Shawn Monahan is making the most of his new Thompson Speedway Limited Sportsman ride in 2014.
Monahan, of Waterford, won the 20-lap Limited Sportsman feature Thursday at Thompson Speedway.
It was his second victory in three events this year at Thompson in the Mr. Rooter Racing ride, which he took over before the start of the season.
Steven Kenneway of Lowell, Mass. was second and Jason Chicolas of Sutton, Mass. third.
Chad Baxter of Pascoag, R.I. had no challengers on the way to victory in the 20-lap Mini Stock feature.
Mike Viens of Seekonk, Mass. was second and Garrett Denton of Hope Valley, R.I. third.
