Waterford Notes: Josh Galvin Makes It Two Straight In Street Stocks; Paul French Wins SK Mod Lights

New Speedbowl LogoWATERFORD – Josh Galvin recovered from an early race wreck and drove away over the closing laps to win the 25-lap Street Stock feature.

It was the second consecutive win for Galvin, of Franklin.

Al Stone III of Durham was second and Norm Root Jr. of Old Saybrook third.

In the 25-lap SK Light Modified feature it was Paul French of Andover getting his first victory of the season.

Larry Goss of North Windham was second and Randy Churchill Jr. of Oakdale third.

“It was a good race,” French said. “I raced hard and clean with Larry Goss. He ran me like a true gentleman. I needed that. My whole team needed that. … I’ve got to dedicate this win to my friend Tim Gallagher. He doesn’t have a whole lot of time left. I went and saw him today and he said ‘Get that thing in victory lane will ya.’ Just a great night.”

In the 25-lap NEMA Lite event it was Paul Bigelow of East Hampton scoring victory.
