Shhhh, don’t tell anyone, but the forecast for Friday in Stafford actually really looks good. We just don’t want to jinx it.

Someday the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour will get to run the TSI Harley-Davidson 150 at Stafford Motor Speedway.

They tried on May 23 and the rain came three features into the racing card and put a halt to the action.

Last Friday at Stafford the rain came in sheets before a single division could even head to the track for features.

And so this Friday they will try once again.

And the weather also looks good for Saturday night with the Waterford Speedbowl hosting a six-division NASCAR Whelen All-American Series card.
