WATERFORD – The celebrations have become a common occurrence this year for Corey Barry at the Waterford Speedbowl.
Barry raced to victory in the 25-lap SK Light Modified feature Saturday at the Waterford Speedbowl.
It was the fourth victory of the season for Barry, of Plainfield.
Paul Buzel of Trumbull was second and Larry Goss of North Windham third.
Vin Esposito of Waterbury won for the second time this season in the 30-lap Late Model feature. Bruce Thomas Jr. of Groton was second and Jim Banfield of Glastonbury third.
Garrett Denton won for the second time this year in the 25-lap Mini Stock feature.
Ken Cassidy Jr. of Lisbon was second and Dave Trudeau of Mansfield third.
Corey Coates of Ledyard held on to win a wreck-married 25-lap New England Truck Series event.
It was the ninth career Truck Series victory for Coates.
