Mike Christopher Jr. Wins Monk Mechanics Hand Cleaners “Cleaned Up” Award For June

Teenager Mike Christopher Jr. was seemingly unbeatable on the track in a Legends car in the month of June and he proved unbeatable at the polls also.

In six Legends divisions starts in June at the Waterford Speedbowl, Christopher had five victories and a second place finish.

He also had a second place in a his lone Legends start at Stafford Motor Speedway in June.

And Christopher came out on top of the voting this week for the Monk Mechanics Hand Cleaners “Cleaned Up Award for June at RaceDayCT.

Christopher finished second in the voting for the award for May.

This month he garnered 32 percent of the votes to top second place Keith Rocco, who got 24 percent of the votes. Christopher’s uncle, Ted Christopher, was third in the voting with 20 percent of the votes.

During the 2014 racing season, the driver that cleans up on the racetrack locally each month will be making sure they stay clean after that thanks to Monk Mechanics Hand Cleaners.
