STAFFORD – Last June, Jesse Hinze got his first career Limited Late Model victory at Stafford Motor Speedway.
But the momentum of the first victory lane visit for Hinze didn’t carry through to 2014 for the team.
But a timely check-up for Hinze’s ride made all the frustrations of 2014 disappear for the Farmington driver.
Hinze went virtually unchallenged on the way to his second career victory in the 20-lap Limited Late Model feature Friday at Stafford Motor Speedway.
Andrew Hayes of Charlton, Mass. was second and Justin Bren of Palmer, Mass. third.
A visit to Bob Fill of BFR Chassis had Hinze’s car keeping the field deep behind Friday.
“I’ve got to first thank my father and BFR Chassis for really putting in a lot of work to the car this week,” Hinze said. “My father brought it up to BFR Chassis to get some work done to it because we’ve been struggling all year. We really couldn’t figure out this car and Bob really helped us out getting the car going.”
In the 15-lap DARE Stock feature it was Trace Beyer of Brewster, N.Y. scoring his first career victory. David Comeau of Palmer, Mass. was second and Johnny Walker of Ludlow, Mass. third.
