SK Light Modified team owner Gino Difilippo Jr. confirmed Monday evening that Tom Fox will be unable to compete for his team Saturday at the Waterford Speedbowl.

Difilippo, in conjunction with Horsepower Hill Racing, had planned to field a three-car team for Saturday’s special Mid-Season 300 show at Waterford, with Fox teaming up with Paul French and Joey Ferrigno.

Difilippo said Fox, the Stafford Motor Speedway director of racing operations and competition, had to back out of competition for personal reasons.

Difilippo said the team still plans to run three cars for Saturday’s 25-lap SK Light Modified feature at Waterford, though it’s unclear at this time who will join French and Ferrigno in the team’s stable.
