Mike Christopher Jr. Wins Monk Mechanics Hand Cleaners “Cleaned Up” Award For July

Monk Cleaned Up Award 286

In June Mike Christopher Jr. rolled to five victories in six Legends car events at the Waterford Speedbowl.

Would be hard to imagine having a better month than that for most racers.

Nothing though it seems is out to the realm this season for Christopher though, and July proved that as the Wolcott racer won all eight Legends races at Waterford in July, and added a victory at Stafford Motor Speedway to the tally.

And just like last month, Christopher came out on top of the voting this week for the Monk Mechanics Hand Cleaners “Cleaned Up Award for July at RaceDayCT.

Christopher finished second in the voting for the award for May.

This month he garnered 36 percent of the votes to top Waterford Speedbowl Street Stock division driver Josh Galvin, who got 27 percent of the votes. NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour and  Valenti Modified Racing Series driver Justin Bosignore was third in the voting with 17 percent.

During the 2014 racing season, the driver that cleans up on the racetrack locally each month will be making sure they stay clean after that thanks to Monk Mechanics Hand Cleaners. Christopher will get a case of Monk Mechanics Hand Cleaners courtesy of Monk. Check out the voting for the Cleaned Up Award below.
