Frank L’Etoile Jr. is making a habit this season of getting some bonuses when he hits victory lane at Stafford Motor Speedway.
Last week the DARE Stock division points leader won for the second time this season at Stafford.
And for the second time this year, L’Etoile followed up victory by scoring a few days later on the campaign trail.
For the second time year L’Etoile, of Wethersfield, has earned the New England Racing Fuel Support Performer of the Week award.
L’Etoile, of Wethersfield, got 103 of the 324 votes (32 percent) cast this week for the award. Pete Zaikarite, winner in the Mini Stock feature Saturday at Waterford garnered the second most votes with 83 (26 percent).
Each week during the 2014 racing season the New England Racing Fuel RaceDayCT Support Performer of the Week will be chosen from among drivers competing in events in one of the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series weekly support divisions (excludes SK Modified divisions) at Stafford Motor Speedway, Thompson Speedway and the Waterford Speedbowl.
L’Etoile will receive a $20 certificate for race fuel from New England Racing Fuel. The final voting results are listed below.
