Paul French Wins New England Racing Fuel Support Performer Of The Week Award

NE Racing Fuel Support Performer Award

Friday at Stafford Motor Speedway, SK Light Modified division driver Paul French got a big first in his career.

French recorded his first career victory at Stafford Motor Speedway in the 20-lap SK Light Modified feature.

Today, it’s another first for the Andover driver.

French sat atop the voting list this week for the first time as winner of the New England Racing Fuel Support Performer of the Week Award.

French collected 114 of the 191 votes cast this week (60 percent).

French was the third consecutive winner of the award to come from the SK Light Modified division at Stafford and the fourth consecutive SK Light Modified division driver to win overall. Jay Goff, Joey Ferrigno and Randy Churchill Jr. had won the last three weeks respectively before French.

Each week during the 2014 racing season the New England Racing Fuel RaceDayCT Support Performer of the Week will be chosen from among drivers competing in events in one of the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series weekly support divisions (excludes SK Modified divisions) at Stafford Motor Speedway, Thompson Speedway and the Waterford Speedbowl.

French will receive a $20 certificate for race fuel from New England Racing Fuel. The final voting results are listed below.
