WATERFORD – The radar might being showing a lot of green, but Waterford Speedbowl management is hoping it will be green flags flying on track before the end of the day at the shoreline oval.
With rain still falling, Speedbowl officials announced an amended schedule for today’s events at the track.
If the rain ends, after the track dries, practice events will hit the track. The Valenti Modified Racing Series will have a 30-minute practice session.
There will also be practice for both Northeastern Midget Association divisions, the SK Modifieds, the Late Models, the Street Stocks, the Mini Stocks, the SK Light Modifieds, the Outlaw Stock division, the X-Cars and the Super X-Cars.
After practice there will be qualifying for the Northeastern Midget Association Lites division and the Valenti Modified Racing Series
Saturday’s schedule will see features for the NEMA Lites, Legends, X-Cars, Super X-Cars, Bandalero’s and Outlaw Stocks.
The SK Light Modified feature originally scheduled for Saturday has been moved to Sunday’s racing card.
