Scott Sundeen Wins New England Racing Fuel Support Performer Of The Week Award

NE Racing Fuel Support Performer Award

Scott Sundeen started the racing season off well, with a second place finish in the opening event of the season for the Limited Sportsman division Saturday at the Waterford Speedbowl.

Things got even better Sunday when Sundeen won the second 20-lap Limited Sportsman event of the season.

Now the Douglas, Mass. driver can celebrate once more.

Sundeen led the way in voting this week to win the first New England Racing Fuel Support Performer of the Week Award of the 2015 season.

Sundeen garnered 31 percent of the votes to edge Chris Douton, the winner of Saturday’s Limited Sportsman feature, by one vote.

Thompson Late Model division winner Marc Curtis was third in the voting.

Each week during the 2014 racing season the New England Racing Fuel RaceDayCT Support Performer of the Week will be chosen from among drivers competing in events in one of the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series weekly support divisions (excludes SK Modified divisions) at Stafford Motor Speedway, Thompson Speedway and the Waterford Speedbowl.

Sundeen will receive a $20 certificate for race fuel from New England Racing Fuel.
