THOMPSON – Scott Sundeen let the dramatics play out behind him and turned a smooth Sunday drive into celebration.

Sundeen, of Douglas, Mass., led every lap on the way to victory in the 20-lap Limited Sportsman feature at Icebreaker 2015 Sunday at Thompson Speedway.

Matt Lowinski-Loh of Milford, Mass. was second and Chris Douton of Waterford third.

Ryan Waterman of Danielson looked to have the car to beat early coming up through the field, but was involved in a hard wreck with Josh Wood of Palmer, Mass. in a battle for fourth place with two laps remaining.

It proved to be a rough weekend for Waterman, who crossed the finish line first in Saturday’s 20-lap Limited Sportsman feature but was disqualified from the victory for contact Corey Hutchings on the final lap of that event. Douton was declared the winner of the Saturday event.

Reigning series champion Dillon Moltz of Waterford drove to victory in the 40-lap Granite State Pro Stock Series feature.

Moltz inherited the lead on lap 21 when Todd Stone and Brad Babb wrecked in a battle for the top spot.

Derrik Griffith of Hudson, N.H. was second and Larry Gelinas of Buxton, Me. third.

Marc Curtis of Spencer, Mass. held off the charges of Rick Gentes of Woonsocket, R.I. to win the 25-lap Late Model feature.

Gentes held on for second and Chris Curtis of Rutland, Mass. was third.

Eric Bourgeois of East Haddam held off the charges of Scott Michalski of Killingly to win the 15-lap Mini Stock feature.

“My first Icebreaker [win],” Bourgeois said. “I’ve won everything else but this.”

Bourgeois had finished third in the season opening event on Saturday. Michalski, who won Saturday’s feature, finished second. Nick Anderson of Oxford, Mass. was third.
