Joey Ferrigno Wins New England Racing Fuel Support Performer Of The Week Award

NE Racing Fuel Support Performer Award

In 2014 the New England Racing Fuel Support Performer of the Week Award was owned by Joey Ferrigno.

Five times Ferrigno was nominated for the award for victories at Stafford Motor Speedway, and five times he won in runaway fashion.

And things clearly haven’t changed in 2015 for the East Hartford driver.

Ferrigno won last week’s 20-lap SK Light Modified feature at Stafford Speedway and then once again dusted the competition in voting this week for the New England Racing Fuel Support Performer of the Week Award.

Ferrigno garnered 131 of the 268 votes cast this week, to take 48.9 percent of the votes in the eight driver field for the award.

Josh Wood was a distant second in the polling, getting 38 votes (14.2 percent) for his Late Model win at Stafford Motor Speedway.

Each week during the 2014 racing season the New England Racing Fuel RaceDayCT Support Performer of the Week will be chosen from among drivers competing in events in one of the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series weekly support divisions (excludes SK Modified divisions) at Stafford Motor Speedway, Thompson Speedway and the Waterford Speedbowl.

Ferrigno will receive a $20 certificate for race fuel from New England Racing Fuel.

The final voting results are listed below.
