Alexandra Fearn made her first victory of the 2015 season last week in the DARE Stock division at Stafford Motor Speedway count for a little more this week.
Fearn, of East Longmeadow, Mass., came out on top in voting this week for the New England Racing Fuel Support Performer of the Week Award.
Fearn clinched the award by garnering 139 of the 483 votes cast this week (28.8 percent).
Ryan Waterman of Danielson, who won the Limited Sportsman feature at the New London-Waterford Speedbowl on Saturday, finished second in the balloting with 110 votes (22.8 percent).
Each week during the 2014 racing season the New England Racing Fuel RaceDayCT Support Performer of the Week will be chosen from among drivers competing in events in one of the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series weekly support divisions (excludes SK Modified divisions) at Stafford Motor Speedway, Thompson Speedway and the Waterford Speedbowl.
Fearn will receive a $20 certificate for race fuel from New England Racing Fuel.
