The NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour is back in action Saturday when the division heads to Riverhead Raceway in Riverhead, N.Y. for the sixth event of the season.
Ryan Preece, winner of two events this year, carries a five point edge in the standings over second place Woody Pitkat heading to the bullring confines of Riverhead.
Reigning series champion Doug Coby goes to Riverhead six points off the lead and coming off his second win of the season on June 10 at Thompson Speedway in the Mr. Rooter 125.
