Joey Logano led only 10 laps in the 2009 LENOX Industrial Tools 301, but it was enough for him to drive away with his first NASCAR Sprint Cup Series victory, making him the youngest winner in the division’s illustrious history at 19 years, one month and four days.

This unforgettable moment is No. 4 on New Hampshire Motor Speedway’s top-10 moments of all-time as it celebrates 25 years of racing at the Magic Mile.

“To get the win today is just cool,” said Logano. “This is where I watched my first Cup race, where I ran my first Cup race, and where I won my first Cup race, so I couldn’t have picked a better place. This is kind of like a home turf place for me – a lot of family and friends here.”

Affectionately known as Sliced Bread, Logano remained out on the track despite being low on fuel, but knowing that rain was on its way to Loudon. While most of the field pitted under green, Logano inherited the lead and a short while later the race was his when it was called for rain on lap 273.

Great seats are still available for the 2015 Oxford Casino Season of Speed at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, with the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series New Hampshire 301 right around the corner on Sunday, July 19.
