WATERFORD – Corey Barry of Plainville scored his sixth victory of the season in 25-lap SK Modified feature at the New London-Waterford Speedbowl.
“It’s awesome,” Barry said. “I can’t say enough for my guys. My father is huge. Without him I would be nowhere. He’s everything behind that car. He works on it countless hours every week. I can’t thank him enough.”
Joey Ferrigno of East Hartford was second and Paul Buzel of Trumbull third.
Barry passed Ferrigno for the lead on the outside on lap six and never trailed again.
Larry Loomis Jr. of Moosup got his first career victory in the 25-lap Mini Stock feature.

Barry continues pulling the wool over the eyes of every SK light competitor and the tech officials at Waterford.
