Today’s RaceDayCT Daily Poll question is a pretty simple one.
On May 21 the Modified Touring Series will host its inaugural event, and only event of 2016, the $15,000 to win Winchester 200 at Monadnock Speedway in Winchester, N.H.
The entry list for the event is already shaping up to be a who’s who of Modified racing in the Northeast.
So will you be attending when the green flag flies at Monadnock in just over a month?

I’m curious why someone would choose a definitive no on this?
I wish this race was on sunday 5/22 instead of saturday… Teddy and Keith Rocco comitted to running the Speedbowl for track points and national points. I’ll probably go to the Bowl.
The entry list is making it harder and harder not to attend. I think there are still a lot of skeptics who want to see how it goes with this new organization. I can’t knock that approach. I’m moving into the will attend direction now myself.
Andy, they have other plans or do not want to go.

Not me, that is for sure. I plan on staying here in New York and watch the circus at Lancaster that day.
I was so glad there was no racing on the weekend of my son’s college graduation… and then this got scheduled! There should be a voting option of “I want to go, but I can’t!” {;-)
I’m in. I’m always ready to support open modified shows with heats and consi’s that have good payouts for modified teams. Look at the list of cars and drivers willing to drive long distances to compete. I’ve been reading all the comments over the last month about this modified show and I’m willing to give the group a chance to succeed. I hope they have a good turnout. These race teams have already registered which means that they have committed more money than I will to go and enjoy this race. I looked at the list of drivers and there are over a dozen names that it would not surprise me if they ended up winning. Short track modified racing with a full field, it doesn’t get any better for me.
