The track has been dark since the running of Icebreaker 2016 weekend April 9-10. … Keith Rocco won the season opening event for the SK Modified division on April 10. Rocco leads the division standings, with Ted Christopher in second, three points behind and Ronnie Williams is third, eight points off the lead. Christopher is not expected to run full-time at the track this year and is will not be racing Wednesday. … Williams is expected to run full-time at the track this year. … The Limited Sportsman division takes center stage of a 4-feature card Wednesday. The division will run a 40-lap feature, double the distance regularly run by the division. … Josh Wood won the opening Limited Sportsman feature of the season on April 10 and leads the division standings by two points over Corey Hutchings. Scott Sundeen is third in the standings, six points behind Wood. … William Wall won the season opening Late Model feature. … Twin brothers Keith Rocco and Jeff Rocco, who crashed together in a battle for the lead in the opening Late Model feature, are both expected back. The Eric Grant owned Late Model team Jeff Rocco drove for shut down following the Icebreaker, but Doug Dunleavy and Don Barker bought Grant’s equipment and Jeff Rocco will now oversee the operation and continue to drive the car. … Wall leads Larry Gelinas by five points in the Late Model standings. Matt Lowinski-Loh is third in the standings, nine points off the lead. … Defending Mini Stock division champion Dave Trudeau opened the season with a victory on April 10. … Trudeau holds a three-point advantage over Wayne Burroughs Jr. in the division standings.     There’s alot of buzz surrounding this event what with a big time Xfinity driver expected to compete in the Sunoco Mod division. Expecting an overflow crowd and many campers from the south to come and see if the local racers can do well against the Xfinity star. Better get there early!
