Anthony Nocella topped the field in the 100-lap Valenti Modified Racing Series feature Saturday at Seekonk (Mass.) Speedway.
It was the first Valenti Modified Racing Series victory of the season for Nocella, of Woburn, Mass.
Jon McKennedy of Marshfield, Mass., coming off a victory in the most recent Valenti Modified Racing Series event at Speedway51 in Groveton, N.H. on May 28, was second. Richard Savary of Canton, Mass. was third.
According to the Chrome Horn, Nocella took the lead from Dan Meservey Jr. on lap 41 and never trailed again.
The Valenti Modified Racing Series is back in action on June 18 at Oxford Plains Speedway in Oxford, Me.
