(Press Release from JD Motorsports)
Ryan Preece’s “New Racetrack Tour” continues this week at Kentucky Speedway.
The Connecticut driver will race for the first time at Kentucky Speedway in Friday’s Alsco 300 Xfinity Series race.
“Another week and another new track,” Preece said. “It’s what this year has been all about for us. It’s been fun getting used to new tracks and new surfaces. I hope we can get used to Kentucky Speedway really fast this week.”
Preece hopes to bounce back from a difficult race last week at Daytona International Speedway, where a blown engine left him with a 34th-place finish.
Preece enters Friday’s race 19th in Xfinity driver points.
Four practice sessions are scheduled at the 1.5-mile track Thursday – 10 a.m., 1 p.m., 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. Qualifying is scheduled for 4:45 p.m. Friday, with the race to follow at 8:30.
