  1. I wish Marsh would have put Chase in the car at Stafford

Chase ran a good conservative race and brought the car home in one piece. That’s a good start in this series when most of these kids have $$$ backing them so don’t care about nothing but the win, like the racing at Stafford and the final laps “rubbing” that was going on. This series has changed a lot since the old Busch North days. There was no one in the stands here, the race had a lot of cautions/ wrecked a bunch of cars. Chase stayed out of it but it’s one of those, don’t get too excited about his finish. Only 11 cars finished on the lead lap, the other cars still running had issues. At Stafford, these big horsepower but Heavy cars were running late model times and a ton of short track rubbing which took out a lot of faster cars, bigger names. This was a better track for Chase to learn on. At least there was room to steer away from trouble and finish top 10. At Stafford, too much risk of big time damage. Rumor is this “ride” cost him $40,000 and S & S covered half of it. Just hope the kid had fun, got some experience and car is in one piece with minor bumps and bruises. I just don’t understand the benefits of this series. Other than getting spoiled kids like the Bassett boys out of their parents hair for 6 months!!
