Red Bull Global Rallycross driver Oliver Eriksson rolls through a corner Saturday at Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park
THOMPSON – Red Bull Global Rallycross took Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park for its inaugural event at the facility Saturday.
The series takes traditional rally car racing and energizes it into a stadium type extravaganza. It puts intensely technically advanced cars through the rigors of competition on pavement, dirt and through high flying jumps.
Tanner Foust won Saturday’s inaugural event at Thompson Speedway. A second event will be held Sunday.
