LOUDON, N.H. – For the second consecutive year the New England Short Track Showdown gave four grassroots short track divisions a time to shine on the big stage of the 1.058-mile oval at New Hampshire Motor Speedway Sunday.
The Valenti Modified Racing Series, Granite State Pro Stock Series and North East Mini Stock Tour put on events Sunday in Loudon, along with a special Street Stock feature.
The garage and infield bustled with activity all day Sunday with packed rosters for all the divisions on hand.
When the day was over it was Ron Silk celebrating victory with the Valenti Modified Racing Series, Reid Lanpher topping the Granite State Pro Stock Series feature, Nick Maniatis winning the North East Mini Stock Tour event and Alby Ovitt scoring victory in the Street Stock feature.
