(Press release from Burt Myers Racing)
LOUDON, N.H. – Burt Myers, 10-time Bowman Gray Stadium Modified Champion and 2-time NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour Champion, will compete in the Musket 250 in Loudon, NH in his championship-winning car built by FURY Race Cars.
This will be Myers’ second appearance in the Musket 250. Tony Eury, Jr. will join Burt for this event as his crew chief.
“’The Magic Mile’ has always been on my racing bucket list and I’m excited to be returning for a second time with a top-notch team behind me,” says Myers. “We performed well at last year’s race; we hope to perform even better this year with the championship car and a veteran team.”
While Myers is best-known at his home track at Bowman Gray Stadium for driving the number 1 car, he will be racing in the number 4 car at the Musket 250.
The number 4 has been a family number for over 70 years! Burt’s grandfather, Billy, his father, Gary, Burt and his brother, Jason, all have raced with the number 4.
CitruSafe is entering its 10th season as a sponsor for Burt Myers. “It’s an honor to be able to sponsor Burt Myers Racing,” states Tommy Lancaster, COO of Bryson Industries, makers of CitruSafe Cleaners. “We’re excited to be on board as he makes a second appearance at the Musket 250 this weekend.”
Watched Burt at Bowman Gray, on the TV show on the Discovery channel, which covered the 2018 season. Although I still get a kick out of his line ” good blessed me….” After watching that show he gained my respect. Hope he has a good weekend here in New England. With A new design FURY car and Tony Jr as crew chief he should have some speed. Good luck Burt.
