Official: Whelen Modified Tour Returning To White Mountain On Aug. 1

As reported exclusively Wednesday on RaceDayCT, the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour will make a return trip to White Mountain Motorsports Park on Aug. 1.

White Mountain Motorsports Park management confirmed the return date through a press release Thursday.

The White Mountain Showdown 200 on Aug. 1 is the second event at the quarter-mile bullring added to the 2020 Whelen Modified Tour schedule. The series made its first ever appearance at the track on July 4 with Justin Bonsginore scoring victory in the Independence Day 200.

“The last few weeks have been a whirlwind in the best way,” White Mountain Motorsports Park managing partner Cris Michaud said in a release. “In less than a month, we went from hoping that maybe the NASCAR Modifieds would come in 2021 to having two events in 2020. If the return visit is as good as the first one, the fans are in for a real treat.

“The Independence Day 200 was everything we hoped it would be. It received almost universal praise from the drivers, NASCAR officials, and most importantly the fans. Right in Victory Lane, drivers were talking about how they wanted to come back. When everybody involved wants something to happen, it’s pretty easy to get a deal done.”

White Mountain, which is not a NASCAR sanctioned track, was not on the original 2020 Whelen Modified Tour schedule. The July 4 event was announced as an addition to the schedule on June 16.

Attendance at White Mountain will once again be limited to 50% of capacity under New Hampshire state reopening guidelines. The release from White Mountain Speedway said track officials are expecting to have online ticket purchasing option ready by July 13.

  1. I wonder if some of the so called local NASCAR tracks will look at not joining NASCAR in future years with NASCAR electing to run twice at White Mountain and the possibility of running at Thunder Road. Why would the tracks want to go through all the hoops for NASCAR if they will still have the opportunity to host the Modifieds.

  2. At the beginning of the year who would have thought there would be more Whelen modified tour races contested at non nascar sanctioned White Mountain NH than Nascar member track Stafford CT. Its a crazy year. August 1st Tour Type modified Day in America. 4 races scheduled in 4 different States. Mask up wash up.

  3. Just another nail in the coffin of a once great tour tracks that supported you over the years a slap in the face

  4. NASCAR needs a track to run at like a ship in a storm needs any open port.

NASCAR can’t be choosey, but nobody is in business to lose money.

  5. Pee Dee Jackhammers says

Who will be the next Long Island punk to drive through someone to win a race?

  6. Running a tour race on the same day Stafford has the Open 80 modified race. NASCAR SUCKS!!! So much for their
“love of the sport” and working with tracks to avoid conflicts. Wonder which show offers a larger purse. All in all it seems to me as though NASCAR wants to control the landscape of modified racing, rather than working with the tracks. To run a race at a non NASCAR track in conflict with a NASCAR track, shows how low they’re willing to go.

  7. 🌈🦄2020 says

Don’t worry Rob p. Nascar and Dafella had a teleconference and determined that there is absolutely no conflict. Just like last weekend. Case closed.

  8. Stafford’s got a problem. It’s not at track fans because of limits and geography. Stafford’s car count will be outstanding even with the loss of Dowling, Swanson and Goodale. Lutz, Silk and McKennedy were registered but they didn’t come last year so it’s not a net loss. The problem is they have to make money on PPV and they’re going up against folks already subscribed to NBC Sports Gold. Something doesn’t compute. Why not switch the open race to Friday and the regular show to Saturday?

  9. Ole timer trivia
Granite State Pro Stock Champ Mike O’Sullivan has 1 late model start at Stafford.
What race? Where did he finish? Who was the car owner?

  10. Why not run the Open Tour Types on Friday with the SK’s like it was originally scheduled. Scrap Saturday all together. I think if you swapped the weekly with the tour types you would be losing a few drivers out of their weekly ranks. Woody, Dowling, Williams. There is nothing you can do when Nascar wants to schedule over you. You either accommodate the bully and reschedule or suffer the consequences. Pretty sure every Nascar race scheduled so far has been directly against another tour type show already established. They had the knee jerk Led Balloon of a Myrtle beach race thankfully postponed due to weather against fullers show which was cancelled when Nascar announced their show. Then scheduled White mtn on top of tri track at monadnock. Now White mtn on top of Stafford. The only races added or run have been on top of already announced races for tour type modifieds. Unfortunately there is a finite amount of tour type drivers cars fans around these parts and everyone suffers. Quick, someone announce a tour type modifiied show so we can get another Whelen show. I just hope the Nascar Stafford relationship doesnt get too strained through these tough times and they can get back together next year when we hopefully get back to healthier better times. Not going to lie from the outside, the marriage looks a little rocky right now.

The kicking game is strong on Long Island. Apparently on 4th down, they never go for a pass to the outside to pick up first, Always punt.

    mask up wash up

  11. Stafford will most likely reschedule their Open 80 modified show. If you look at last year’s shows there are only a handful of NWM teams that compete in the open shows. Then you’ve got Williams, Dowling are Stafford regulars. I don’t see Williams running the Tour race, their only running a limited season. So really they’d only lose 4 or 5 drivers/teams, so they may decide to run on the same date. You know they’ll be able to draw the fans, due to limitations in place. Guess it’s wait and see.

  12. Rob, Stafford is going to cancel an Open Show they announced yesterday?? In what world does that make sense? They knew about Aug 1st when they announced it.

Stafford also announced another Open show for Aug 22nd, the same night the WMT is at Jennerstown. Not a peep about that from you guys. Where is the outrage about that???

Nascar and Stafford are fine. Nothing to see here. There was obviously some communication beforehand. Can we please move on. Maybe enjoy some racing.

Most of you guys aren’t even going to the track this year so why does it even matter to you.

Pee Dee, I guess we will all have to buy a ticket to find out. Hope you guys can make the trip again.

  13. IgnoreLaws says

    This makes me laugh:

“Attendance at White Mountain will once again be limited to 50% of capacity under New Hampshire state reopening guidelines”

  14. Thomas Barmstarn says

JD you hit the nail on the head. Most of the people commenting havnt left their houses in 5 months. They are more worried about getting a cold then actually go and support the thing they say they love so much.

  15. Fast Eddie says

With Jennerstown almost 500 miles from Stafford, as a fan 8/22 is an easy choice for me; Stafford. For those that can make the trek to Jennerstown, enjoy if you choose to! With the limited “make up the schedules as they go along” season this year, it is inevitable, though still not as enjoyable, to have to pick between two or more events on the same night. Due to advance ticket sales I got lucky last Saturday and picked WMMP, so I also got to the TriTrack race on Sunday. Stafford and WMMP are both options for me. Unfortunately I’m sure fans will have a few race nights where they will have to choose which event to go to. But that is still far better than having no choices at all!

  16. wamss01013 says

DO you guys think that Mark Arute, Jimmy Wilson, Jack Bateman, Wayne Darling and Joe Skotnicki are on conference calls daily to dscuss what dates races will be, AGAIN series have sponsors and duties to fufill and because in this shortened still uncertain season dates will be made when others scheduled No series owes and other series ANYTHING, would it be nice if every race was on its own night? sure but highly unlikely

  17. What I meant to say was Stafford will probably move to August 2nd, although it really doesn’t appear they need to as it will only affect a couple of teams. I really think it will come down to Stafford moving to the 2nd though.

  18. I don’t think the series talk all the time but in this case Stafford and Nascar were talking because a decision had to be made regarding the originally scheduled Aug 7th WMT event. Think maybe they spoke about the Fall Final which remains on the schedule?? Then… once a second WMMP tour race became an option things needed to be sorted out both for the venues and the teams. Remember, there were no conflicts before Covid. That’s where the blame should go.

The Stafford Opens conflict with the tour twice in August. If Stafford was concerned about it they had time to change it. I don’t think they are worried about it. They are more worried about getting in the shows they promised their season ticket holders which they seem to be doing. The Aug schedules are set. Make to your travel plans and enjoy some racing.

I don’t think anyone is talking to Jack Bateman. Beech Ridge announced a seven week schedule and I don’t see MRS anywhere on there. A lost season for them. I don’t feel bad for anyone who scheduled races at Waterford when the place isn’t even operational. He should have sold MRS when he had the chance. It’s only worth pennies on the dollar now.

  20. Rob p

Stafford is definitely not going to cancel the Open Saturday, any money they make on Saturday just adds to the Pot they made on Friday Night before. It will be sold out both nights no matter what the WMT is doing. Not to mention the Double $ on the PPV streams, a few teams not being able to make it will not be a good enough reason to postpone a Sell Out.

  21. Fast Eddie says

If Stafford changed to August 2nd they would be up against the Cup race at Loudon. Plus 8/2 is listed as Stafford’s rain date for the event.

  22. Anybody see the deal Patrick Mahomes got? 500 million for a 10 year deal, plus incentive bonuses. If he manages to make the playoffs every year, he’ll be the highest payed player of all time.

  23. Not sure your point Welder/Doug. I have never streamed a race in my life and still have no interest in doing so. I stand by that statement.

Haven’t been to Thompson since I made that other statement. That was in regards to the reduced purses. Then again, no one has since I made that statement since they haven’t opened yet. I stand by that statement as well.

Not sure your point? I know I am a man of my word. Thanks for the reminder, I guess?

Now I have to get up early on Sunday to try and get Open 80 tics for the 18th. It’s like the old days trying to get concert tickets. Busy month. Stafford, Star, WMMP. This fan will feel the thunder all month. Enjoy your TV watching boys.

Mike O’Sullivan competed in the late model 100 on July 6, 2007, driving Joe Hamm’s #13. He won the race in his first ever late model start. Jim Peterson finished 2nd in the #17 Flamingo Motorsports car.
Both cars were set up by Dave Hirsh, Matt Duby, Jim’s Crew chief and mechanic and Joe Hamm, and ran nearly identical setups.

  30. Wait until Stafford drops NASCAR.Pretty sad that the NWMT Connecticut Tour is in shambles.

  31. David Fisher says

Now we can all say Stafford should drop NASCAR, they don’t need them. Then in 5-10 years, we can say Stafford really needs NASCAR, as they are in shambles without them. I don’t care for NASCAR, but I do think lots of fans do. Down here in my land, the non-NASCAR-sanctioned tracks really struggle for support from drivers and fans alike. Yet add NASCAR to the worst racing there is, at my local NC 1/4 mile track (strictly my opinion) and 15,000 fans a week show up. I submit if you drop NASCAR, their attendance will go way down, from the drivers with NASCAR connections to the fans that support it. Go figure!

  33. Not to worry Mr. Fisher. This NASCAR deal is the target du jour. Alternately praised and vilified depending on the topic and whatever current circumstance exists.
You can bet next spring if the Covid19 crises is beaten down by a vaccine and things can return to some semblance of normal that the Sizzler and NWMT will resume once again to a robust, enthusiastic audience. Maybe after this year with pent up demand a record setting audience.

DID U SEE THE CROWD at WMMP? WALLL LAST YEAR there is a reason why THOMPSON has had 146 and Stafford 131 WMT races AND ITS NOT they like NASCAR, yes open shows are gaining but Thompson wont do it and Stafford would NEVER close the door so all you guys keep dreaming

  35. Dollar to Donuts White Mountain will be a Nascar track in 2021. I heard that was part of the 2021 discussion about hosting the tour originally. Covid just accelerated everything. So this summer is all good faith towards 2021. I’m hoping for at least two more there again in 2021 and maybe more.

Oswego hasn’t been a Nascar track either until recently. It’s not an absolute requirement.

  36. I don’t see Stafford leaving NASCAR. I would hope going forward that the date conflicting between NASCAR and, well, every other modified series or race will stop. It’s tough, especially here in New England because there are only so many weekends, and an abundance of races yet to be run. An idea; NASCAR should commit to running the WMT races on either Saturday, or Sunday, that way the other series, or tracks can plan accordingly, and everyone’s happy.

  37. Right now there are over 135000 Covid deaths in the USA.
To put things in context, if you lined hearses up bumper to bumper, the line would stretch from New Haven Connecticut past Richmond Virginia, on I95, which is 415 miles away. Kinda sobering.

  38. So what’s the point Rob p we all hear it every day. Do you bring it here to make some point that does not reflect well on the president. Have to tell you he’s doing a bang up job on that himself. I’d suggest if you don’t like him just shut up and stick to racing. You can’t possibly do a better job making a case for him losing in November then he is.
If you just want to talk abut sickness and death on a race site then carry on.

  39. No Doug, nothing to do with politics. People have become numb to the numbers. You see a number on TV , just trying to put that number into a visual perspective. Really, can you imagine a 415 mile long line of hearses?
Look at what’s happening down south, and Southwest. They are setting new records every day, but there are still allot of people who continue to believe it’s no big deal. Right now, here in New England, life has started slowly getting back to a somewhat normal status. The problem is, this virus will hit us again, it’s inevitable,

  40. I’m still trying to figure out why they could not have just run a one day show at Loudon on this day but 45 minutes up the road is OK? Deep down I just want more Modified racing, I don’t care what tour it is, I just want more and sprinkled heavily throughout our NE tracks!

  41. 🌈JD🌈 posted, “I’m still trying to figure out why they could not have just run a one day show at Loudon on this day but 45 minutes up the road is OK? Deep down I just want more Modified racing, I don’t care what tour it is, I just want more and sprinkled heavily throughout our NE tracks!”

The differences in running Loudon and a bullring are HUGE, but you wouldn’t know that.

It always has to be all about you.

  42. So I’m listening to Gov. Cuomo give a status report on COVID-19 in New York State. Cuomo just destroyed The Clodfather, aka: Don Trumpleone. Trump was puréed.

NYS is experiencing outbreaks from people that traveled to NYS from other states. NYS has problems in an upstate county and the infection was traced to a family from Georgia that traveled to that county.

New Hampshire has been pretty lucky. Except for southern New Hampshire. I like that CT allows only 25% capacity at Stafford, it should minimize outsiders. Good luck for upper New Hampshire.

  43. Folks, go find today’s daily briefing by New York State Governor Andrew Cuomo. He puréed Don Trump. Cuomo also went after Trump for attacking Fauci and calling Fauci a liar. Cuomo was saying Trump should fire Fauci if Fauci is a liar. Clearly antagonizing Trump. Fauci has far better public approval ratings than Trump, like 4 times better. When you are Trump, everybody has better approval ratings. That’s what bothers Trump and why he’s going after Fauci. Although it would be entertaining to see what happens if Trump were to fire Fauci during a worsening pandemic.

How about that moron Governor from Texas? Called covid-19 a hoax, pneumonia, and now is in a panic, calling for mandatory mask wearing and may shutdown the state. You would think he could have learned from what NY and CT went through and did. But no, it’s Texas. And that even bigger moron Governor from Floriduh?????

Don Trumpleone, also known as the Clodfather.

Dr Fauci, the nation’s foremost expert was recently quoted ” This is your worse nightmare combined with the perfect storm” I truly think that Dr Fauci, who has served through six presidents, and has dedicated his career ( over 40 years) to the study of infectious diseases, is more trustworthy than your president.
Now local news channels have been reporting that people from New England who have recently travelled, have brought the disease home with them. 3 confirmed cases at Bay State medical in Springfield just today. We’ve all made allot of sacrifices since March, and have managed to drive the numbers down enough to have things start to reopen, but the numbers DO continue to rise in New England, with the exception of Vermont which is the only state where cases are actually declining.
So tell me Mr Welding, how exactly are you right?

  49. “Until we have a vaccine, any rise or fall in cases will be based on social factors: communities locking down and families sheltering in place. And, as was the case back in 1918, individuals wearing masks.” – JHU

In a recent Gov. Cuomo daily briefing, he made the ominous statement that we will not see zero deaths from COVID-19 for a very long time. The death rate in NYS has flatlined at less than 50 deaths per day since Jun 20. The experts are saying COVID-19 will be with us for years to come and we must remain vigilant for now on, until a vaccine or other therapy is available, or the infection and death rates will explode.

Social distance, wash your hands often, and wear the damn mask.

I know exactly what your saying Dareal. A bad car accident in 2012 left me permanently disabled. After 2 years of getting beat down by the I Durance company, and a less than adequate settlement, I was forced to sign up for program’s I was enrolled in SNAP, medicaid and fuel assistance in 2014. Although these programs help significantly, I am still well below the federal mandated poverty level, but manage to scrape by. In 2017, again in 2018, and again in 2019 the help I received was cut beyond belief, all thanks to Trump and his republican Senate pals. I’ve found creative ways to be able to squeek by. Thank God I don’t have children to support. So when you hear about the stimulus packages that constantly face Republican scrutiny, think of me, and the millions of Americans like me. When you read about programs being shuttered, think of me and the millions of Americans like me. Look, I don’t want a free ride, just a little help to survive. So, in November, when your vote can make a difference please, please think of me and the millions of Americans just like me. Thank you

    THE FACTS

    https://covid19-projections.com/
C19Pro Score reflecting rolling 7 day state by state averages. Positive number=decreasing numbers

    CT 0
    Mass -.7
    NH 0
    Vermont 0
    RI -.8
    Maine +2
    Florida -100
    Texas -44

CONCLUSION: STRICTLY SPEAKING IT IS ACCURATE TO SAY THAT IN MASS AND RI THE ROLLING 7 DAY AVERAGE IS NEGATIVE. HOWEVER THERE IS NO EVIDENCE AT THIS TIME THAT IS REPRESENTS A MORE ALARMING NEGATIVE TREND.
WE HAD OUR DESPERATE TIME AND WE MAY AGAIN. FOR NOW WE ARE DOING WELL.
PROJECTING THE MISERY OF OTHER REGIONS THAT ARE NOT ADHERING TO SAFETY PROTOCOLS AS WELL AS OUR REGION IS DISINGENUOUS AND MISREPRESENTS THE FACTS BASED ON A PARTISAN POLITICAL AGENDA.

WE ARE RACING FOR NOW. ENJOY IT!!!!!!

  51. The MegaChurch of WalMart will require face masks starting Monday.

It’s coming after you no matter how hard you ignore it.

    😷😷😷 🦠🦠🦠

  52. The Center for Disease Control just stated that the fall and winter of 2020-2021 will be one of most difficult times in history.

  53. And your point Me Wonders? Not everyone is financially secure especially now. I saw an interview with someone the other day, who’s hit hard times. Made over $400,000 last year, but finds himself waiting in line at the food bank, and if not for state intervention would be facing eviction. I’ve got no issue with the fact that I’ve received assistance in the past. It’s the A** holes like you who look down their noses at those less fortunate that bother me. Money is something you either have or you don’t, it doesn’t determine( or shouldn’t) your character. I’ve been on both ends of the spectrum, yet have always found that it’s not Money that makes a man, but I’ve noticed when you’ve got allot of money, you end up with allot of friends. Friendship shouldn’t be determined by income, and when I hit hard times, only then did I learn who my true friends were. So, you just keep being the A**hole you really are, just remember, I can train a monkey to do what you do.
By the way, don’t know what right wing Trumpians news outlet you get your information from, but Covid cases are rising, not falling. In Massachusetts the average daily death rate is right around 35, with positive cases slowly ticking upwards. Anyone with an elementary school education can tell you that if all the numbers are positive, it’s impossible to have a negative average
Keep listening to Dr. Trump, see where it gets you. Wait, I’ll save you the trouble. Keep listening to Dr. Trump and your gonna end up Dead.
And I’m changing your name to MR. GIGGLES, because your posts, if you can call them that, make me laugh
    Have a nice day idiot

  54. University of Washington health metrics model predicts 224,089 deaths due to Covid by November 1st. For the record, the number of deaths have surpassed every predicted number, by every organization, so far.
My brother lives in Jacksonville Florida, and works at the Naval air station there. Everyone on the base has been told to restrict their travel to a 50 mile radius. If you travel further, you must quarenteen at home for 14 days, and have 2 negative tests before returning to work. And quarenteen time is unpaid.

  55. Early on, back around April, Dr. Fauci predicted a rise in cases starting in the end of June. He nailed it. 🎯 This is the start of the severe fall/winter the experts were warning about.

Take in all the racing you dare before we get shut down again.

  56. Fauci also recently said Covid is the combination of your worse nightmare and a perfect storm. Yesterday he told a group of medical students that we would be dealing with this for a year and a half to two years. Combine that with the new death prediction of 240,089 deaths by November 1st, and things really look grim. With the absolute ignorance of Dr Donald Trump, it’s a really bad time to live in America. Our saving grace have been the governors. Cuomo, Baker and Lamont have really stepped up in these trying times, and have managed to lead their states, the way a real president should be leading this country. Now Dr Donwants the hospitals to report their findings to HHS
Can you spell manipulation? Guaranteed if this does happen the numbers will all flip towards the good, which is exactly what we don’t need to happen. We need honesty from our leaders, not manipulation. If it happens many many more people will needlessly die. Please don’t let Dr Dons antics discourage you. Keep fighting the good fight we can still turn this around. If you need to ask though, for you it’s already too late.
    God Bless, everyone stay safe.

Anyone with an elementary school education can tell you that if all the numbers are positive, it’s impossible to have a negative average
Keep listening to Dr. Trump, see where it gets you.

    SCIENCE AND FACTS

    7 DAY ROLLING AVERAGE

    Cases 7 day average change 48 (23.1%)
    Tests 7 day average change 1834 (21.9%)
    Deaths 7 day average change -4.6 (-20.1)
    Positive test rate 2.5%
    Net hospitalizations -9

WHILE IT IS TRUE NEW INFECTIONS HAVE RISEN FROM A LOW OF 202 ON JUNE 25 TO 254 AS OF YESTERDAY THE INCREASE IS NOT STATISTICALLY SIGNIFICANT.
DEATHS PER DAY ARE NOT NOW 35 AS ROB P STATED NOR HAVE THEY BEEN THAT HIGH SINCE AROUND JUNE 20TH.. IN FACT THEY HAVE STEADILY DECLINED TO 18 PER DAY AS OF YESTERDAY.
TESTING CONTINUES TO RISE STEADILY AND MAY BE PARTLY RESPONSIBLE FOR THE INCREASE IN INFECTIONS DETECTED.
THE POSITIVE TEST RATE OF 2.5% IS THE HIGHEST IN NEW ENGLAND ASIDE FROM RHODE ISLAND BUT IS STILL HAS NOT INCREASED IN A MANNER THE INDICATES AN ALARMING TREND.
    NET HOSPITALIZATION CONTINUE TO DECREASE

    MASSACHUSETTS REPORT CARD;
A MIXED BAG OF SLIGHTLY INCREASING INFECTIONS THAT MAY OR MAY NOT BE RELATED TO THE CONTINUING INCREASE IN TESTING. TESTING CONTINUES TO RISE, HOSPITALIZATIONS FALLING AS ARE DEATHS. THERE ARE NO GUARANTEES OF WHAT THE FUTURE WILL BRING.
HOWEVER PROJECTING THE PLIGHT OF OTHER REGIONS ON MASSACHUSETTS AT THIS POINT IN TIME IS DISINGENUOUS AND FACTUALLY INCORRECT.

WHAT ROB P THE ALARMIST MAY REALLY BE ABOUT IS SELF INTEREST.

” So, in November, when your vote can make a difference please, please think of me and the millions of Americans just like me”

I will be thinking of Rob p. in November and voting for Kanye.

  60. Kanye dropped out already.

  61. 🌈🦄2020 says

Positive cases surging in the 20-29 age group in CT. And I wonder what these kids have been doing the past two months. Surely not protesting or rioting.

  62. Kanye was never in, he never filed any paperwork, it’s all a publicity stunt. Even so, he’d even be a better choice than giving Trump 4 more years.
If you actually think Donald is doing a good job, and is the person you want to represent the country on the world stage, vote for him, it’s your Constitutional right to do so. The important thing is that you weigh everything before you fill out your ballot, and not cast a vote simply because you don’t like the people. You have to remember, your vote is going to set the direction this country goes in for the next 4 years, and nobody in politics has all the answers.

  63. Report I saw said the 20-29 age demo has been partying, spreading the 🦠.

  64. In the beginning, young people accounted for a small number of cases, but now they account for the majority of cases. In the beginning, allot of the “experts” said that when warmer weather came, the virus would die down. Taking into account the number of cases throughout the Sunbelt, I think it would be safe to say that the virus isn’t affected by the weather. The cases are rising so rapidly that contact tracing is all but impossible.

  65. Rainbow unicorn dude, don’t think of me when you vote. As normal, MR GIGGLES aka Welding Wonders has taken a part of a post, totally out of context, to try and make himself seem better than me.
Long story short, in 2012 I had a really bad car accident. The insurance company fought my claim. I was broke and needed help so I signed up for help. Once I finally received a settlement, I paid it all back.
When you vote, think of kids being pried away from their parents and put in cages. Think of the millions of people who lost their health insurance, food stamps and fuel assistance, most of which are senior citizens who worked their whole life and paid taxes. Think of the veteran sleeping under a bridge because funding for the VA was cut. Think of the hungry children who no longer get free meals at school, because funding was cut. Think of the billionaires who pay little to no taxes, while the rest of us saw our taxes rise. Think of the military service men and women being hunted, because Russia pays people who kill Americans. Think of all the needless deaths from Covid, because of the government response. I could go on and on.
Think of all these things, then think where do you want to be in 4 years? Do you want a leader who constantly lies? Do you want a leader who cannot accept blame? Do you want a leader who’s destroyed the relationship we had with our Allie’s? Do you want a leader who thinks he’s above the law? Do you want a leader who’s constantly laughed at in the world stage?
After you’ve thought about all of this, then cast your vote.

  66. Has a entry list came out yet for the modified race on August 1

  67. Has this been confirmed?

Still not up on the NASCAR schedule.

  68. Darealgoodfella,
This entry came from the NASCAR/White Mountain announcement. Not sure how much more official it can get. The schedule online hasn’t been updated in some time last I looked. Still had a bunch of now cancelled events listed as postponed.

  69. Shawn,

It could get WAY more official if the sanctioning body would maintain a current schedule. Amiright? That they don’t is not an excuse, but a pitiful explanation. That NASCAR does not keep the schedule up-to-date is deplorable.

You have an ear to the ground and are all over this, it’s your livelihood. I’m just a li’l old customer with the expectation that the sanctioning body will do a decent job informing the public about its product schedule. Given the pandemic, an up-to-date schedule is CRUCIAL.

Is that really too much to ask of NASCAR?
