Stafford Notes: Chris Meyer Gets Second Consecutive Street Stock Win

STAFFORD – Chris Meyer backed up his first career Street Stock victory at Stafford Speedway last Friday by making it a streak. 

Meyer, of North Franklin got his second consecutive victory in the 20-lap Street Stock feature. 

Frank L’Etoile of Wethersfield was second and Meghan Fuller of Auburn, Mass. third. 

Rookie Derek Debbie got his fourth victory of the season in the 20-lap SK Light Modified feature.

“I barely even expected one win,” Debbis said. “I can’t believe we’ve got four.”

Brian Sullivan of South Windsor was second and Chris Matthews of Stafford third.

Andrew Durand checked out on the field to score victory in the 20-lap Limited Late Model feature. 

It was the fifth victory in nine starts this year for Durand, of Chicopee, Mass. 

Matthew Clement of Wethersfield was second and Alexandra Fearn of East Longmeadow, Mass. third.

    Ferrigno got SCREWED! They gave the lead to Debbis but never counted the lap on the scoreboard. If the lap was not completed (counted) then you are supposed to go back to the order of the last completed lap.
