JB Fortin Adds Peerless Boilers Sponsorship To Modified Team; Setting Out On Busy Schedule For 2021

(Press release from JB Fortin Racing)

Second generation NASCAR Modified talent JB Fortin of Holtsville announced today his race team has reached a marketing agreement with Peerless Boilers that will allow the 28-year old driver to embark on a diverse and ambitious race schedule in 2021. Fortin’s new sponsor will enable him to compete in a virtual “racing buffet” including his third year on the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour, plus Stafford Motor Speedway Modified Open races, Thompson Outlaw Open Modified Series events as well some Riverhead Raceway Advance Auto Parts Weekly Racing Series NASCAR Modified races.

“We are very excited to have a company of Peerless Boilers stature join JB Fortin Racing for the 2021 season” the recently married Fortin stated, “we cultivated the relationship with Peerless Boilers through my parents John’s Fuel Oil business and were able to strike up a marketing package that we hope lasts for years to come”. The leading name in boilers for both residential and commercial applications Peerless Boilers is the home of the “best built boilers’ as well providing parts and tech support for their vast product line.

With the fast approaching season at the doorstep JB Fortin revealed he and his team have devised a race schedule that will keep the young group very busy in the months to come, “we want to race as much as we can and now with Peerless Boilers coming on board it makes it possible” Fortin revealed. For the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour slate Fortin will field a 2019 Fury powered by a Robert Yates Engine while for most of the open races he’ll race his 2017 Troyer chassis machine with a Performance Technology power plant under the hood.

Fortin heads to the 2021 NASCAR WMT campaign with 24 starts under his belt and is proud of how his team has evolved in just two full seasons on tour, “very carefully with some hard work and learning along the way we are building a nice team here at JB Fortin Racing. However as much as we build I can never forget how it all started with my parents John & Nicole and John’s Fuel Oil but also our John’s Tree Removal company. The faith they have in me since my first laps at Riverhead Raceway has never wavered and they’ve invested heavily in our racing future”.

In addition to Peerless Boilers JB Fortin also announced many of his longtime loyal sponsors are returning in 2021 as The Golden Jalapeno, Northeast IT, PAC Automotive Components, Whip City Jerky and Lisa’s Italian American Restaurant have agreed to return for the new race season.

Right out of the gate 2021 will get off to a busy start for JB Fortin Racing as they’ll compete in the NASCAR WMT opener Thursday night April 8th at the Martinsville Speedway in Virginia and from there will head north to the Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park for the Sunday April 11th Outlaw Open Modified Series opener. 1. “best built boilers’
OK if you say so but mostly a meat and potato’s boiler. Peerless is no fool Long Island is a great market and John’s Fuel Oil must sell a lot of equipment down there.
Fortin is a dabbler and apparently another team picking and choosing from a menu of options. Hope this boiler manufacturer works out as well as Burnham Boilers worked out for Stefanik.
