Thought I was going to be bored by hearing these two having heard them so many times before so I put it off.. Especially Waltrip and his tired old racer schtick. Not a fan at all of old drivers sharing war stories. This was different.
It was a cocktail of prior relevant experience, some war stores with anticipation of racing again and nerves having to race with so many unknowns. Mostly it appeared they didn’t want to suck against their peers.
I suppose it’s possible this SRX deal sucks but I’m not thinking it will at all. It just changes so much every week with resets to zero at new venues, distances and surfaces. Then there is the learning curve each will negotiate at different rates.
