  1. A successful race includes good weather, a smooth broadcast and good racing. Good racing does not mean clean racing according to the execs. Tearing body panels off is not a concern. I cannot recall who said it but in a previous presser included in the Unmuffled series one of the drivers said there are a total of 16 cars. I believe it was Ribbs who said at the time they would need them all. Perhaps joking or maybe not.

Evernham walked the plank…….voluntarily. Saying the car was designed specifically to make each driver have to figure it out and being like none of their experiences including the Rocky Balboa. Driver input and driver line the key. Not an easy car to drive.

Steward walked the plank as well. No he will not concede nor does he think the SRX drivers will allow any of the local Rocky Balboa drivers to dominate any aspect of the upcoming races at any venue.

Unlike IROC cars that were equally prepared the SRX cars can be tweaked to the drivers driving style.

Nashville is the crown jewel of the SRX series and a perfect way to wrap up the series. However the tone will be set at Stafford and all the interest that follows will be determined in part by how well the race goes.
