The weekend marks the return of the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship and Michelin Pilot Challenge to Lime Rock Park for the NorthEast Grand Prix.
This is the first visit to Lime Rock Park for IMSA since 2019, when both races generated some nail-bitingly close finishes. With fields made up of brands like Lamborghini, BMW, Lexus, Aston Martin, Mercedes-AMG, Porsche and Acura, fans will surely be able to find their favorite to cheer for at race time.
Our paddocks will be open to the public so you can get an up close look at these amazing machines before they take to the track.
Practice and qualifying will take place on Friday, with both races happening on Saturday. We are happy to confirm the return of Fan Walks, which will take place on pit lane immediately ahead of both of Saturday’s races.
And there will be plenty going on off the track as well, as the Kid Zone will be packed with activities for younger fans, starting with the chance to make some model race cars that Lowes will be bringing out on Saturday. And naps will surely follow after time in the Bounce House, some face painting, a chance for special keepsakes from the photo booth, and some yard games! As always, kids under 16 are free at Lime Rock Park.
There are a lot of great story lines to follow this weekend as well, including local racers making their IMSA debut, a big weekend for track partner FCP Euro, and a double-championship lead for Boston-based Turner Motorsport, which is atop the standings in both the Michelin Pilot Challenge and WeatherTech SportsCar Championship.
So pack your blanket and join us this weekend, tickets are available at the gate or online.
