While they’ll win or exceed expectations
51-came in second to Preece in the August race at Stafford and also qualified second behind Preece. A podium finish in the one race at Stafford in 2020 and qualified well also. Never has won at the track and tired of hearing it.
10-since 2019 Coby has one win and has always been in the top 4 at Stafford except in this yearsSizzler/Drizzler that had the bizarre ending. It’s his home track and he know every inch of it and how to race it.
07-won the Sizzler coming back from a number of issues and the championship is on the line. Will bring their best and try their hardest because that’s the only way they have any chance of taking the brass ring.
85-won twice since 2019. May not qualify that well all the time but always finds a way to be near the front at the end. Second only to Coby in knowledge of the track and every bit as smart.
7ny-3rd in qualifying and finished third in the August race. Has passed on a couple Stafford races since 2019 but when there, the worst finish was 6th. TBR knows Stafford well racing and winning an open with Christopher and 2nd in the Lincoln Tech Open in August.
44- No appearances at the track in NWMT races in 2021 but a 4th in the Lincoln Tech Open in August. And it’s Santos.
While they won’t win or disappoint
51-lackluster qualifying and finishes prior to the last two years. No reason to take chances will find a safe place to finish race and cruise to a championship.
10-5th in qualifying in the August race and finished fourth. Not a good year for the 10 team in relative terms and they may not be at their best just running what they have to finish the season.
07-Stafford is not Emerling’s track so much so he didn’t even race in the one race at the track last year. The Sizzler win was more like a blue moon type of deal. At the tail end of the top ten in finishes and qualifying since 2019
85-team is watered down with two cars and it’s Silks last race with Kevin Stuart Motorsports. Mediocre qualifying effort this year in the two events at Stafford and haven’t gotten the track figured out relative to other teams.
7ny-since 2019 hasn’t won at Stafford. This year they’ve blown hot and cold with some great finishes but laid a few eggs as well. If the 7ny qualifies well they’ll likely be at the front at the end.
44-three appearances in NWMT races this year with nary a top 5. A win likely not in the cards and a top 5 the best hope for exceeding expectations.
Stafford has produced some unlikely first time wins including Goodale, Kyle Bonsignor, Lutz not to mention Emerling’s win in the Sizzler. The odds of some kind of unanticipated finish may be greater this year. It’s the final points event, something that’s different. Moreover while Bonsignor may be motivated to bide his time and be cautious there are a large number of teams that may be willing to take a lot of risks with nothing more then a good finish at stake.

Nice Job Doug…. Nocella musta had many PICKER’S on the edge of their seats for the first 3/4 of the Race , that 5 points woulda shaken things up ,,, Well we Have the Thompson 300 & Haunted 100 left on the PICK’em List … Should be DRAMA aplenty for the TOP 5 PICK’Em Pool …. To Win the 300 you have to first be able to Finish clean, Good Pit Stops, Fuel Mileage / Speed Conversion formula gotta be spot on … less fuel used = Less stops made …. Have Fun = Be Happy ….
Participation a little light for the final NWMT race that was a little disappointing. The Haunted Hundred and 300 are huge so hopefully we can fire up the base and finish the season strong.
