Fresh off two straight top-two finishes, including a victory at Monadnock Speedway, Justin Bonsignore is set for NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour racing at Wall Stadium Speedway this Saturday night.

In the Jersey Shore 150, Bonsignore will look to ride momentum off the win at Monadnock Speedway and a second-place finish at Riverhead Raceway. Bonsignore sits fifth in the Whelen Modified Tour championship standings, 33 points from the top. With two wins in seven races and the Wall Stadium event marking the halfway point of the season, Bonsignore will look to continue his climb up the standings on Saturday night.

In his one previous start at Wall in Whelen Modified Tour action, Bonsignore qualified on the Mayhew Tools pole and led 31 laps, but was collected in a crash that ended his night early.

“Wall is a tough track, high-banked and you carry a lot of speed through the corners,” Bonsignore said. “I have some experience there in Modifieds outside of the Whelen Modified Tour, so I’m comfortable with the groove. With a few of the Wall Stadium regulars running with us and the competition out there, it’s going to be tough. We’re just looking to go there, control what we can control and come out of there with a strong night.”

The Wall Stadium race day schedule will include one practice session from 3:30-4:30 p.m., followed by Mayhew Tools Dominator Pole Qualifying at 6 p.m. The drop of the green flag for the Jersey Shore 150 is slated for 8 p.m., live on FloRacing.TV for those who can’t make it to the track.
