The Saturday night of Oxford 250 weekend at Oxford Plains Speedway is about celebrating the day before one of New England’s biggest events.

For Jacob Perry of Pawcatuck there was plenty to celebrate at the historic venue Saturday.

Perry scored his first win of the season in the 75-lap Modified Racing Series feature at Oxford Plains Speedway Saturday.

Matt Swanson of Acton, Mass. was second and Rusty Poland of Windham, Me. third.

Anthony Nocella of Woburn, Mass. was fifth and Steve Dickey of Londonderry, N.H. fifth.

Kirk Alexander, David Arute, Andy Shaw, Donny Lashua and Ryan Doucette round out the top-10 respectively in the 21-car field.

21 cars, pretty good car count, especially for the MRS and considering the traveling distance for everyone.
