  1. Is this a vote for Ms. Popularity.
This is the way it should be going.

Soper-passed Bonsignor late in the race for the win the first time in 27 years a regular at Riverhead did it in a NWMT race.
Jake Johnson/Dana DiMatteo a tie- both started at or near the front, both fended off restarts at critical times and both were the beneficiary of the 60 having issues that prevented him from competing at his full potential.
Nocella-great run in a big show but flat out got lucky charging to the checkers as cars were wrecking in front of him.
Christopher-running the 7ny that he’d won in at Stafford and Thompson as well as a podium in the car in the NWMT opener at New Smyrna. In every other driver on the list definitely a surprise, Christopher at the time of the event was a favorite.

  2. Fast Eddie says

My initial thought was DiMatteo forged ahead of Johnson, but I’m changing that to Johnson. DiMatteo has a lot more time behined the wheel of a Modified than Johnson does. They are definitely #’s 1 & 2, with Kyle Soper 3rd. I think Mike Jr. and Anthony were both destined to win in WMT, Nocella being the most overdue.
