Foley Oil & Propane Leaf Peepers 100 Kicks Off Busy Season End At White Mountain

(Press release from White Mountain Motorsports Park)

After taking a weekend off for the Oxford 250 last Saturday, White Mountain Motorsports Park returns for Labor Day Weekend with the Foley Oil & Propane Late Model Leaf Peeper 100 on Saturday, September 3rd. Alongside championship-defining action for the Foley Oil & Propane Late Models, Wells River Chevrolet Flying Tigers and Woodsville Guaranty Savings Bank Strictly Stock Minis, the Dad’s 4 By Tool & Supply Kids Division returns after a three-week break along with the GoMotorsportsShop.com NELCAR Legends and Bandoleros Tour.

The annual Foley Oil & Propane Leaf Peepers 100 has become the staple Labor Day event for White Mountain Motorsports Park. Three different victors have taken down the Leaf Peepers 100 in as many years with a fourth different victor poised to take down the win once again. Quinny Welch continues his nearly 50-point commanding lead but, after taking down his first win of the season two weeks ago, Jesse Switser is looking stout in his #25NH Ford Mustang. Don’t count out multi-time track champion Stacy Cahoon or the plethora of young-guns including rookie rivals Ryan Ware and Bryan Wall Jr. or St. Johnsbury’s Kasey Beattie.

The most interesting development as the season hit the downhill slide is the current tie between Shane Sicard and Tanner Woodard for the Wells River Chevrolet Flying Tiger track championship. After battling hard throughout the season, Sicard has made some missteps over the last month while the younger of two Woodards has been coming on strong in the late goings. The competitive division can very easily give way to top rookie Kaiden Fisher, still looking for his first White Mountain victory, while multi-time 2022 winners Jason Woodard and Mike Clark are still looking for more as the season winds down.

Sophomore Massachusetts racer Chris Moulton continues to lead Tyler Thompson in the Woodsville Guaranty Savings Bank Strictly Mini track standings. The weekly four-cylinder class has been fun and exciting each time out on the White Mountain high banks and Foley Oil & Propane night will be no different!

In the Dad’s 4 By Tool & Supply Kids Division, young Austin Sicard looks to strongly defend his first White Mountain win from three weeks ago from the likes of hardened competitors like McKenna Merchant, Logan Farnsworth and Kyle Goodbout. Could another first time rise above the ranks and follow Austin’s example? Find out on Saturday, September 3rd.

Also included in the Foley Oil & Propane Leaf Peepers 100 program will be the return of the GoMotorsports.com NELCAR Legends and Bandolero Tour. May 2022 winner Devin Deshaies is leading the NELCAR Legends championship standings and looks to make it back-to-back wins on the North Woodstock oval for the year and help pad up his championship run.

Thunder returns to White Mountain Motorsports Park with the Foley Oil & Propane Leaf Peepers 100 on Saturday, September 3rd. Along with the Late Model 100-lapper, the NELCAR Legends and Bandolero Tour returns to WMMP plus the Wells River Chevrolet Flying Tigers, Woodsville Guaranty Savings Bank Strictly Stock Minis and Dads 4 By Tool & Supply Kids Division. Schedule and race day information will be released in the near future.
