White Mountain Motorsports Park closes out it’s 30th season of stock car racing in North Woodstock, New Hampshire this Saturday night, September 24th. The absolutely jam-packed evening is headlined by the $5,000 to win R&R Race Parts NH Street Stock Open 100 plus final championship rounds for the Foley Oil & Propane Late Models, Ammonoosuc Asphalt Mini Late Models, Woodsville Guaranty Savings Bank Strictly Stock Minis and Wayne’s Market Dwarf Cars. Alongside the four championship presentations will be the non-point Dad’s 4 By Tool & Supply Kids Division and a visit from the New England Dwarf Car Series with a special 5:00pm Post Time on Saturday!
For the second consecutive year, the $5,000 to win R&R Race Parts NH Street Stock Open is coming to White Mountain Motorsports Park. In 2021, over 40 V-8 Street Stocks from across New England made the trip down Route 3 for their chance at the $5,000 prize. With the Open Rules available through the R&R Open Street Stock Series, Street Stock-type teams from across the Northeast are able to compete with minor adjustments with tires available for all comers. Can someone steal away the top prize from defending champion Jimmy Renfrew Jr., be there Saturday to find out!
The 2022 King of the Mountain Foley Oil & Propane Late Model track championship comes down to the final 50 lap feature of the season. Eight-time champion Quinny Welch is looking to take down a record ninth championship on Saturday with his 54-point lead over fellow White Mountain master Stacy Cahoon. Cahoon narrowly edges hot-shoe Jesse Switser by one point. Welch is not quite out of the woods yet with heat, semi-feature and feature event points up for grabs, a driver can take home 70 points with the Hat Trick of winning all three.
Oxford, Massachusetts’ driver Nick Anderson leads the inaugural championship standings for the Ammonoosuc Asphalt Mini Late Models over Newfield, New Hampshire’s Ken Marrier. Anderson’s 46-point lead is also not a guarantee for the 2022 track championship with 60-points per event up for grabs in the Mini Late Models. Although this will be the final point-counting event this season, the Ammonoosuc Asphalt Mini Late Models have been invited to Barre, Vermont’s Thunder Road on September 30th for a $1,000 to win, 50 lap feature alongside the Pro All Stars Series on Friday of Milk Bowl weekend.
The Woodsville Guaranty Savings Bank Strictly Stock Minis feature just nine points separating summer-long point leader Chris Moulton and current runner-up Tyler Thompson. Both have been dominant and consistent forces in the four-cylinder ranks with each digging deep for their first White Mountain Motorsports Park track championships. While the championship-defining 25 lapper on Saturday ends their White Mountain season, the Strictly Minis have also been invited to Vermont’s Thunder Road for a two segment Mini Milk Bowl as part of Booth Bros./Hood Milk Bowl Qualifying Day on Saturday, October 1st.
Multi-time Wayne’s Market Dwarf Car champion Jason Wyman leads Jeff Ainsworth and Dave Gyger by over 50 points rolling into their championship event while fans get triple the Dwarf Car action on Saturday. The New England Dwarf Car Series make their White Mountain debut with twin 25-lap feature events after last weekend’s weather postponement forced their schedule change to championship night.
Last, but far from least, the Dad’s 4 By Tool & Supply Kids Division also takes their final White Mountain Motorsports Park green flag before making their second annual trip to Thunder Road for their own Mini Milk Bowl on Saturday, October 1st.
White Mountain Motorsports Park wraps up the 2022 season Saturday, September 24th with the $5,000 to win R&R Race Parts NH Street Stock Open 100. The Dads 4 By Tool & Supply Kids Division and rescheduled New England Dwarf Car Series will be joining the fray to complete an action-packed, seven division night of Thunder in the Mountains! Special Post Time starts racing action off at 5:00pm with General Admission set at $15 for adults and $5 for Kids aged 12-6 with a Family Four Pack available for $30.
